Senior: As I'm pursuing a Computer Science degree within Oklahoma Christian University, I will mostly be writing this review in regards to how they handle Computer Science/Engineering majors. Also, I feel like the required meal plans need to be adjusted to reflect the lack of food options for students, especially later in the day. Would like to see better on campus food options. The professors are mostly helpful, although there are a few that are not very accessible to students for help with class work. Also on campus work is available for about any type of work you can think of. Something that would be beneficial would be to have better access to tutors that have specified areas of expertise. There is also a lot of off campus housing that still seems like you are on campus, which is an excellent option for students with pets! There are a lot of activities and clubs to join, ranging from sports, to music and entertainment. The one I dealt with was nice enough but didn't seem to have to knowledge to deal with much of anything. Dorms are adequate but I think there needs to be better training for the CMs. Sophomore: Stillwater has a beautiful campus and a family like feel. The campus has over 100 organizations and clubs to choose from, and, through this, you're able to observe the diverse student populace. If you decide to not eat on campus, consider taking a 5-min drive to downtown Tulsa or down Route 66 where there's an abundant amount of restaurants, attractions, and shops to visit! The dorms are decent and old and the walls are sorta thin.

However, abundant research opportunities with TURK have helped expand my knowledge and experience.Īside from academics, the food on campus is DELICIOUS with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. Because TU specializes in STEM, my academic experience hasn't been entirely fruitful compared to my STEM counterparts. As a psychology major, TU offers adequate education. Sophomore: The University of Tulsa is the perfect uni that allows me to stay close to home, close to my Vietnamese community, be part of a tight-knit school environment, and attend for a relatively good price with a TON of scholarship money.
